I started my Law Enforcement career January 1987 and became interested in helping my Brother and Sister officers when I was elected to the position of State Delegate in 1992 for the Hudson County Corrections Policemen’s Benevolent Associations Local #109. Serving in the capacity as State Delegate I testified in front of the Senate Law & Public Safety Committee for Senate bill 1253, which gave all County Correction Officers the powers of arrest beyond their territorial limits. Governor Florio signed this bill into law on August 9, 1993. I also testified in front of the Senate Law & Public Safety Committee for Senate bill 474, which gave officers immunities and tort liability coverage when making a lawful arrest. Governor Whitman signed this bill into law on June 20, 1996.

Organizational Activities:
I served in the position as state delegate for 10 years and was awarded, silver life membership to the New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association. I am involved with several Police Organizations such as the Honor Legion, Metropolitan New York & New Jersey Detectives Crime Clinic and serve on the executive board for the New Jersey Law Enforcement Police Brotherhood Association. As one of the executive board members I’ve had the pleasure to present law enforcement officers and law enforcement organizations donations to help them during their time of hardship, below are just a few.

All of our Law Enforcement Officers who serve in the many different Law Enforcement titles have a very tough and dangerous job when serving the taxpayers of the state of New Jersey. Every man and woman in uniform places his or her life on the line every day in one way or another to serve and protect you the public. They need to know that their efforts are appreciated and we will support them and commended them for a job well done under the circumstances.

Your financial support today will enable us to make a difference for a safer tomorrow! Therefore please take the time to place your check in the mail today. Thank you and be safe!!!
